We are seeking an experienced phlebotomist with at least 1 year of professional phlebotomy experience who is comfortable working across multiple locations and adapting to a variety of patient and clinic needs. In this role, you'll perform patient blood draws, assist with specimen collection and processing, and provide coverage where needed to support smooth day-to-day operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, works well independently, and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.Pay: Starting at $18 per hour, with flexibility based on experienceSchedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday; schedule and location may vary based on operational needsBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision with In-Network & Custom Network discounts401(K) with discretionary employer matchPaid Time OffFree clinical diagnostic laboratory testing performed in houseIn this role, you will be responsible for:Administrative duties: Providing excellent customer service to patients and families, answering phones, and monitoring for instrumentation alarms.Technical responsibilities: Performing venipuncture for blood collection, obtaining additional specimen types as required, and preparing all samples for lab testing and screening, with a focus on pediatric patients.Accurate data management: Verifying specimen information, performing data entry, and properly identifying patient information.Specimen handling: Receiving, processing, and packaging samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.Compliance: Following safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participating in quality assurance activities.Flexibility: Supporting clinic operations and assisting with coverage as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day workflow.Reliability: Maintaining consistent, punctual, and reliable attendance to ensure continuity of operations and support for our team and patients.Education & Certification:High school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience:At least 1 year of professional phlebotomy experience requiredExperience working in a clinical laboratory, physician office, hospital, or other healthcare setting preferredExperience working with a variety of patient populations preferredPrevious float, multi-site, or coverage-based experience is a plusLicensing & Driving RequirementsValid, unrestricted driver's licenseClean driving recordSkills & Competencies:Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with pediatric patients and their familiesDetail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracyHighly organized and capable of managing multiple responsibilities effectivelyAs a commitment to our clients and their requirements, all candidates for this position must meet the following immunization and health screening requirements before starting employment at the designated site:Annual Influenza (Flu) vaccinationHepatitis B (HepB) seriesMeasles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) vaccinationTuberculosis (TB) test, PPD (within the last 12 months)Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (TDAP) vaccination (within the last 10 years)Varicella (Chickenpox) vaccination or immunityDrug screening, as required by designated client sitesProof of immunization or immunity will be requested upon hiring. If not presently immunized, but willing to receive, Interpath will cover the associated costs at their partner clinic.
