You will have the opportunity to perform testing and contribute to the development of power electronic components.\nThe power electronic component team is responsible for end-to-end design and development of power electronics for multiple Company’s applications, and you will have the opportunity to support the 20+ strong team in New Technology Introduction (NTI), New Product Introduction (NPI) & Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) in a way that leads to robust products that meet documented performance requirements leading to stable production.\nTypical task breakdown:\nWorking with the validation engineer & product design team to define test & validation requirements. • Developing test and validation plans for components and assemblies\nPerforming lab tests to validate components from a performance and product quality perspective.\nAnalyzing and documenting test data\nCommunicate results and make recommendations to customers, suppliers, team members, and other business units\nIdentifying and troubleshooting hardware and software issues\nValidating and implementing product solutions\nDocumenting findings in technical reports\nMaintain technical currency\nSupport component testing at various test facilities (Mossville AC, PPG, TC-G, etc.)\nEducation & Experience Required:\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 8-10 years experience required OR Master’s Degree with 5-7 years experience.\nTechnical Skills\nAdvanced ability to perform details calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction and installation standards and specifications. Advanced ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations. Advanced ability to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects. Previous experience with computer applications and design software related to engineering field.\nSoft Skills\nCreativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability. Team player and detail oriented. Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
