This position assists in ensuring equipment reliability, maintaining maintenance schedules and records, supporting improvement projects, and helping lead maintenance personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations.\nThe ideal candidate has hands-on experience with industrial machine maintenance, tool and equipment management, maintenance planning, and project coordination. The candidate must be bilingual (English/Spanish), possess strong computer skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.\nDuties\nMaintenance Operations\nAssist in supervising daily maintenance activities for production machinery, tooling, equipment, facility systems, and company vehicles.\nProject Coordination\nAssist with maintenance-related projects, equipment installations, facility improvements, and machinery upgrades.\nCoordinate with production, engineering, and quality departments to support operational requirements.\nTrack project timelines, maintenance costs, and resource utilization.\nRecommend improvements to equipment performance, maintenance procedures, and workplace safety.\nMaintenance Records & Asset Management\nMaintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, equipment histories, and inspection reports.\nManage preventive maintenance schedules for machines, tools, and company vehicles.\nTrack spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies.\nPrepare reports and summaries using Microsoft Excel and Word.\nEnsure documentation complies with company procedures and aerospace industry requirements.\nLeadership & Communication\nProvide guidance and support to maintenance technicians and maintenance personnel.\nAssist in scheduling maintenance staff and assigning daily work priorities.\nFoster a positive, safety-focused work environment.\nCommunicate effectively in both English and Spanish with employees, vendors, and contractors.\nConduct maintenance meetings and support employee training initiatives.\nSafety & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and aerospace manufacturing standards.\nParticipate in safety inspections, audits, and corrective action activities.\nPromote preventive maintenance practices that support safe and reliable operations.\nCoordinate preventive maintenance (PM) programs to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.\nMonitor and schedule repairs for CNC machines, manufacturing equipment, compressors, forklifts, and other production assets.\nTroubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.\nEnsure maintenance work is completed efficiently and in compliance with aerospace quality standards.\nQualifications\nEducation\nAssociate degree in Maintenance Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, or related field preferred.\nExperience\n3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.\nPrevious lead, supervisory, or maintenance coordination experience preferred.\nExperience managing maintenance schedules, work orders, equipment records, and asset tracking.\nTechnical Skills\nKnowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.\nExperience with machine tools, manufacturing equipment, and facility maintenance.\nAbility to read technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation.\nFamiliarity with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.\nProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).\nStrong data entry, reporting, and recordkeeping skills.\nLanguage Requirements\nBilingual (English and Spanish) required.\nOther Requirements\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.\nAbility to prioritize multiple projects and maintenance activities.\nStrong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.\nValid driver's license preferred.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, and work around manufacturing equipment.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.\nOccasional overtime or weekend work may be required to support production schedules.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAerospace manufacturing maintenance experience.\nForklift certification.\nExperience with CNC machine maintenance.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.\nExperience using CMMS software for maintenance planning and tracking.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nHydroform USA, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace for all employees.
