This role owns projects from concept through implementation (“A to Z”), working cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Finance, and external vendors to deliver solutions that support operational efficiency, product quality, safety, and business objectives.\nThe Project Engineer develops technical solutions, manages budgets and schedules, ensures compliance with engineering and regulatory standards, and supports the successful transition of projects into ongoing operations.\nKey Responsibilities Project Management & Execution Lead full lifecycle engineering projects from concept development through commissioning and operational handoff.\nDefine project objectives, scope, timelines, deliverables, and success criteria.\nResearch, analyze, design, and implement creative technical solutions to support manufacturing and facility needs.\nDevelop project plans, schedules, cost estimates, and resource requirements.\nSource and evaluate contractors, suppliers, and equipment vendors; obtain and review quotes.\nOversee project execution to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and technical requirements.\nEnsure all projects comply with applicable codes, standards, regulations, and company requirements.\nEngineering Design & Technical Support Design, specify, and optimize manufacturing processes, infrastructure, equipment layouts, and facility improvements.\nPerform engineering analyses and present technical recommendations to stakeholders.\nSupport modifications and integration of electro‑mechanical systems, automation, and manufacturing equipment.\nDevelop and review technical drawings using 2D CAD and 3D modeling software.\nDocumentation & Compliance Coordinate engineering documentation, including drawings, permits, specifications, and legal/regulatory requirements.\nPrepare and maintain complete and accurate project records throughout the project lifecycle.\nSupport validation, qualification, and documentation requirements for new processes and equipment.\nDevelop procedures, training materials, and operational documentation as needed.\nCross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Finance, and other departments to align projects with operational needs.\nCommunicate project status, risks, and timelines proactively to stakeholders.\nLead project meetings, document meeting minutes, and track follow‑up actions.\nSupport capital appropriation processes and provide project data for financial planning and reporting.\nManage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and control costs.\nIdentify risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.\nApply sound decision‑making and conflict resolution practices to support project success.\nProject Start‑Up & Handover Support commissioning, start‑up, and transition of projects into routine operations.\nEnsure smooth project closeout through transfer of documentation, knowledge, and materials.\nProvide post‑implementation support to ensure sustainable project outcomes.\nRequired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience.\nKnowledge of construction, fabrication, manufacturing, and assembly methods.\nExperience modifying or integrating electro‑mechanical equipment and systems.\nUnderstanding of automation integration, electrical control components, and system configurations.\nProficiency with 2D CAD and 3D modeling software.\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills in English.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.\nStrong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional discretion.\nPreferred Qualifications Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.\nKnowledge of electrical automation and control systems.\nFamiliarity with plastic extrusion, calendaring, and winding processes.\nExperience with project risk management, decision‑making, and conflict resolution.\nProficiency with engineering simulation software and advanced project management tools.\nWorking knowledge of civil, electrical, or materials engineering principles.\nProblem Solving and Innovation\nTechnical Analysis\nBudget and Schedule Management\nCross‑Functional Collaboration\nCommunication and Stakeholder Management\nAbout the Company Our client is a Global Manufacturer with over 30 locations worldwide.
