This is a hands-on leadership role where your ideas are valued, your work has visible impact, and your growth is supported!This position is designed and intended to be performed in Rochester, NH.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Facility ManagementMaintain a high level of housekeeping across store, warehouse, equipment, vehicles, and groundsProvide a clean, safe environment that reflects a positive company imageEnsure all equipment is operationalSales ManagementOptimize store layout and merchandising to maximize sales and customer flowAlign displays with seasonal needs, promotions, and advertisingDrive traffic through in-store programs and company promotionsProvide ongoing sales training and product knowledge to team membersMonitor competitors and adjust pricing strategies as neededIntroduce and evaluate new productsInventory ManagementOrder products in accordance with company policiesManage inventory levels to support turnover and profitabilityAdjust product mix based on performance and demandMaintain pricing and margins aligned with supplier changesOversee claims for damaged or returned goodsAccounting ManagementApprove invoices and ensure accuracy of goods receivedMaintain control of daily cash and depositsSupport store-level financial accountabilityEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS:Associate’s degree with 5 years of retail experience (including 3 years in a supervisory role), or Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of retail management experienceProven track record leading and developing small retail teamsAgriculture background with management experience and strong merchandising skills preferredWorking knowledge of lawn & garden, agriculture, and pet/livestock productsPositive, hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop a teamStrong customer focus with professionalism and attention to detailEffective communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to multitask and operate in a fast-paced environment
