We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our growing team.This position is located on-site in Sedro Woolley, Washington State.POSITION DESCRIPTIONProject Engineers are responsible for the execution of highly complex jobs, from cradle-to-grave. Our teams strive for greatness at every level, and we want you to be a part of that success.The following essential job functions are performed as a Project Engineer:Support concurrent engineering efforts by participating in project development of manufacturing plans, schedules, and quality plansPromote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents and reportsReview customers purchase orders, contracts and change requests and ensure that the necessary criteria and provisions are metComplete Inspection Plans in conjunction with Project Planning and in coordination with Project ManagementVerify compliance to codes, standards and customer contractsPerforms in process and final inspections on customer ordered projects as necessaryOrganize and monitor Corrective Actions, assist to evaluate and determine Root Cause and Corrective Action PlansMust be able to comply with Safety, 5S, AS9100 and Nadcap Standards and PracticesDevelops detailed Production Build Plan packages based upon customer process specifications and engineering drawingsWorks directly with the customer and internal technical teams to ensure progress on all stages of project lifecycleCommunicates, consults with, and participates in design and manufacturing supportHelps to develop and release planning and purchases suppliesMaintains heightened awareness of the project schedule for each project as it moves through the value stream in order to meet key project deadlinesFacilitates communication and consultation with Program Management, Operations, QA and HRAssists Project Managers in the execution of a project plan, including the development of Work Orders, materials procurement and organization, preparation of schedules and budgets, and various other project activitiesBehavior: The incumbent must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines. The incumbent shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.Being at work on time and maintaining good attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the jobQUALIFICATIONS* Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).* This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEA bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering is requiredMust have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office productsMust show a proficiency in technical writing through previous experience in producing testing plans, final reports, process instructions, or other equivalent activitiesExperience with CATIA and NX CAD software is a plusFocus, self-motivation and initiative is a mustExceptional communication and presentation skills through written, verbal, and graphical mediumsOrganizational skills to support management of multiple tasks and activitiesExperience and interest in problem solving and improving processesDemonstrated attention to detailADDITIONAL INFORMATION* Salary range for this role is between $83,000 - $145,000 plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off shifts. The range provided is Janicki's estimate of the base compensation for this role.
