Our growth and success is a result of the dedication and commitment of our company.\r\nRole Description\r\nOperators will be loading a machine that does welding, tapping, assembly and unloading parts to and from fixtures. The operator will be responsible for operating one or more machines to fabricate metal parts or assemblies to specifications, applying basic knowledge of manufacturing theory on production basis.\r\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\r\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Additional job duties may be assigned.\r\n\r\nInspects and measures machined work pieces to verify conformances to specifications.\r\nUnload parts from machine, inspects parts for quality and place in appropriate containers.\r\nExamines finished work pieces to verify conformance with specifications according to operator inspection sheet, quality control plans and/or customer notes using instruments such as gauges.\r\nMaintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.\r\nEnsure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.\r\nChange perishable tooling as required (taps, tips, etc.).\r\nBasic understanding of computers and ability to perform computer functions as they pertain to the job.\r\nDemonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-task\r\nCompetent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools.\r\nDemonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change.\r\nWorking safely as a condition of employment.\r\nOther duties as assigned.\r\n\r\nExpectations\r\nEmployees are expected to follow all standards listed below\r\nConsistently exhibit appropriate attendance habits, working the hours necessary to perform the job.\r\n\r\nOrganize and maintain efficiency of personal work area.\r\nProvide necessary, accurate, and timely feedback of all pertinent information to co-workers and management.\r\nEffectively communicate with co-workers and management personnel to enhance teamwork and communication initiatives.\r\nConsistently adhere to and support company policies and procedures, including ISO14001, IATF16949, and safety regulations.\r\nAccept instructions and duties in a positive manner.\r\nTreat all co-workers with dignity and respect.\r\nActively support the E&E values.\r\n\r\nWork Environment\r\nWork environment characteristics are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
