As a Software Engineer at SEACORP, you will help design, build, and test the software and data systems behind the Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS) program: the integrated combat system used across the U.S. Navy submarine fleet. You will join a multidisciplinary team of SEACORP and government engineers who develop the services that move, store, and deliver data for some of the most advanced platforms in the world.\nJob Responsibilities:\nDesign, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions in languages such as Java, Python, and C++.\nDevelop databases, middleware, APIs, and prototypes in support of Navy data systems.\nWork on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.\nParticipate in an Agile team, consisting of daily scrums, two-week sprints, quarterly program increments, demonstrations, and retrospectives.\nUse professional engineering tools, including Git, Linux, and the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, etc).\nLearn modern data, cloud, and AI-assisted development technologies on the job, with guidance from the team that runs them.\nQualifications:\nEducation:\nSoftware Engineer I, II, III - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
