Come for a JOB, stay for a CAREER.\n\nMaintenance Engineer Overview:\n\nMaintenance Engineer is responsible for supervising the properties maintenance and routine processes to make it fully functional, enjoyable, and safe for our guests. Engineers are self-started with an insatiable curiosity, a superb work ethic and strong interpersonal skills.\n\nResponsibilities include:\n\nPerform preventive maintenance and repair duties, including but not limited to HVAC, refrigeration systems, plumbing, lighting, furniture, sheetrock, and painting.\n\nMonitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.\n\nResponsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.\n\nMaintain a professional and courteous manner with all guests, vendors, contractors, and employees.\n\nComplete grounds work as directed by Chief Engineer\n\nResponsible for alerting the General Manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that has taken place or that may occur.\n\nAssure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines.\n\nRespond to all guest and colleague maintenance issues in a timely fashion Keep accurate record of assigned tasks and must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.\n\nMinor Maintenance (Electrical, Plumbing, painting, caulking)\n\nSnow Removal (Must be able to shovel snow)\n\nJob Requirements:\n\nIf you are interested in kickstarting your career in the hotel industry and have the following skills, we would love to speak with you:\n\nA keen eye for detail, time management and great customer service skills.\n\nPleasant and friendly demeanor.\n\nAble to work as a team and independently.\n\nFlexible working hours.\n\nAbility to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.\n\nPhysical mobility and stamina.\n\nMust be able to pass a background check\n\nAbility to follow instructions.\n\nWATERFORD HEALTH AND WELLNESS\n\nHealth Insurance is available on the first of the month after hire!\n\nWe value the health and wellness of you and your family.
