Do you want to be part of a larger purpose of an evolving, high-performance culture that empowers you to make a difference?EIHC is seeking a part-time Pharmacist dedicated to serving the needs of our community.SCHEDULEMonday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM, varied hours, to be determined.CompensationCompetitive compensation packages based on previous work experience, education, certification, and other relevant factors. $50.00-$90.00 per hour.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitesEnsure pharmacy operations are managed and performed legally, ethically, and in accordance with the highest professional standards and with organization policy.Process incoming new prescriptions, refills, and transfer requests.Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential or actual drug-related problems and ensures prescriptions are filled and dispensed accurately.Reviews drug histories and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe drug therapy; documents interventions and their outcomes for use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts.Provides individualized patient consultation, drug information and education to medical staff and patients.Provides direct supervision, training and development of pharmacy staff.Collaborate with prescribers and clinical staff to improve health outcomes and safetyAmazing Benefits4 Weeks of Paid Time Off8 Paid Holidays2 Floating Holidays100% Employer Paid Basic Life and Long-term Disability Insurance401(K) (4% Employer Match and 100% Vested from Day 1)Employee Clothing AllowanceEmployee Assistance ProgramGym Membership Discount to the Midwest Athletic ClubParental LeaveFTCA Malpractice InsuranceRequired QualificationsBachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD.Current State of Iowa License or ability to obtain one prior to start date.One year of clinical/community pharmacy experience preferred.Experience in 340B program desired.Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel), pharmacy software and electronic health record.Eastern Iowa Health Center is an equal opportunity employer and makes decisions related to compensation and all terms, conditions, or privileges of employment on the basis of merit.
