Lead Budtender (Full-Time) – Embr DispensaryPay: $19/hour + benefitsSchedule: Full-time (open availability required: days, nights, weekends, holidays)About The RoleEmbr Dispensary is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Budtender to support daily retail operations and lead a high-performing team. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on customer experience, team development, compliance, and inventory control in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily dispensary operations including opening/closing proceduresSupervise, coach, and support budtenders and retail leadsEnsure accurate cash handling, drawer balancing, and sales reportingMaintain compliant inventory processes (receiving, stocking, audits)Deliver and uphold exceptional customer service standardsTrain staff on products, procedures, and compliance requirementsMonitor team performance and provide feedback and coachingMaintain compliance with all state and local cannabis regulationsCollaborate with leadership, compliance, and operations teamsSupport store organization, workflow efficiency, and team cultureQualificationsMust be 21+ years old1+ year cannabis industry experience requiredPrevious retail leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and regulationsExperience with POS systems (Blaze preferred) and METRC is a plusProficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace (Excel skills a plus)Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational abilitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environmentWhat We’re Looking ForA people-first leader with a positive, energetic attitudePassion for cannabis and customer educationStrong accountability and decision-making skillsAbility to coach, develop, and motivate a teamReliable, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindsetPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand/walk for extended periodsLift up to 50 lbs occasionallyPerform repetitive movements (bending, reaching, etc.)BenefitsHealth, Dental & Vision InsurancePaid Time OffEmployee DiscountPaid TrainingCareer growth opportunitiesEqual Opportunity EmployerEmbr Dispensary (Apical, Inc.) is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
