{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"e7976d36e0b85fb5213692a6","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e7976d36e0b85fb5213692a6","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e7976d36e0b85fb5213692a6","title":"Data Center Technician (Rack & Stack / Server Break-Fix)","description":"Job Description\nWe are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician to support hardware deployment, server installation, break/fix activities, and infrastructure operations in a high-availability data center environment.\nThe ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with rack & stack, server hardware troubleshooting, structured cabling, and enterprise data center operations.\nResponsibilities\nInstall, rack, and deploy servers, network switches, and related hardware.\nPerform rack & stack activities following rack elevation diagrams.\nPerform server hardware break/fix (RAM, SSD/HDD, PSU, NICs, server trays, etc.).\nInstall, label, route, and manage fiber optic and copper cabling.\nPerform cable management and maintain patch panels.\nTroubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues.\nSupport hardware refreshes, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades.\nMaintain accurate asset inventory and documentation.\nUpdate incidents and work orders using ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools.\nWork closely with engineering and operations teams to maintain high system availability.\nRequired Skills\n3+ years of Data Center Technician experience.\nRack & Stack experience.\nServer installation and deployment.\nHardware break/fix experience.\nDell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Lenovo, Cisco, or Supermicro server experience.\nFiber optic and copper cabling.\nCAT5/CAT6 installation.\nPatch panels and cable management.\nAsset management.\nServiceNow or similar ticketing system.\nBasic networking knowledge.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.\nWillingness to work onsite and support rotating shifts if required.\nPreferred Skills\nLinux\nVMware\nActive Directory\nDCIM tools\nCompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, or similar certifications\n#NOBLE-NON-IT\nPay: $27.00 -
