Trident Search are engaged with a Series A AI SOC vendor who are looking to bring on board a fully remote SDR who MUST be based in NYC. Please no applications if you are outside of NYC - I will not be able to consider you.The RoleAs an SDR, you’ll be on the front lines of our go-to-market team - identifying and engaging prospective customers, generating pipeline, and helping build the foundation of our revenue engine.This is an opportunity to join an early-stage, high-growth AI cybersecurity company where you’ll have meaningful impact, learn quickly, and grow your career in enterprise sales.You’ll work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Leadership to target CISOs, SOC leaders, security engineers, and IT decision-makers.What You’ll DoProspect into enterprise and mid-market accounts via email, LinkedIn, phone, and creative outbound strategiesGenerate qualified meetings and pipeline opportunities for the sales teamResearch target accounts, security initiatives, and organizational structuresDevelop messaging tailored to SOC, SecOps, detection engineering, and security leadership personasCollaborate with marketing on campaigns, events, and outbound initiativesMaintain accurate activity and pipeline data in Salesforce and other GTM toolsLearn and communicate complex cybersecurity and AI concepts effectivelyConsistently achieve and exceed activity and pipeline generation targetsWhat We’re Looking For1-2 years of SDR/BDR experience, ideally in SaaS, cybersecurity, or infrastructure softwareStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh energy, coachability, competitiveness, and resilienceInterest in AI, cybersecurity, and enterprise technologyComfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExperience with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo, Salesloft, or HubSpot is a plusExtra AdvantagePrior cybersecurity sales experienceFamiliarity with SOC workflows, SIEM, EDR, or detection/response technologiesExperience selling into technical personas or enterprise buyersStartup experienceWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary + uncapped commissionEquity in a rapidly growing AI security companyComprehensive health, dental, and vision coverageCareer growth and mentorship opportunitiesCollaborative, high-performance cultureOpportunity to help define the future of AI in cybersecurityCompensationExpected Base range: $70,000–$85,000 base depending on experience and performance.
