Working alongside experienced Project Managers and Superintendents, you'll help organize project documentation, coordinate communication, and track progress to keep projects running smoothly.\nYou'll contribute by assisting with submittals, RFIs, and schedules; participating in site walks and project meetings; and collaborating with trade contractors and design partners. Through hands-on experience, mentoring, and ongoing training, you'll develop the skills needed to grow into future leadership roles within Clark Construction.\nThis role is based out of our Lansing office and support our project in Chattanooga, TN. Ideal candidates may live in or near Chattanooga, Collegedale, Walden, or other surrounding areas.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the project team in managing all aspects of construction from preconstruction to closeout\nManage and track submittals, RFIs, and material delivery schedules to ensure timely project progress\nParticipate in all project meetings (owner, progress, and coordination) and prepare relevant documentation\nConduct daily site walks with the Project Manager or Superintendent to monitor progress and identify potential issues\nLearn and develop mastery of CONNECT, the company's project management system\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with trade contractors, suppliers, and project partners\nParticipate in monthly Project Engineer meetings and ongoing training sessions for professional growth\nPrepare for advancement by gaining proficiency in project management best practices\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree is preferred in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field\nStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment\nCollaborative approach with clients, design teams, and trade partners\nFamiliarity with ProjectSight, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred\nPrior construction-related experience (internship or full-time) valued\nMust have reliable transportation to and from job sites as required\nWhy Work with Us?\nAt Clark, we believe in fostering a work environment built on trust, collaboration, and excellence.
