Also, responsible for adhering to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) that are in effect to assure the quality and quantity of product produced plus maintain a professional and team oriented behavior and attitude.\n\nEssential Functions:\n\nStock and supply the proper raw materials (boxes, cartons, cores, roll stock, etc.) to the appropriate machines.\nDetermine raw material needs by reading job tickets.\nRemove finished products to the designated area (shipping) using a hand jack.\nEnsures the work conducted within the production area is performed in a safe and efficient manner. Any unsafe work conditions are addressed immediately.\nEnsures adherence to all quality control processes and procedures and actively supports the company’s internal audit program.\nNotifies supervisor and other personnel of production problems, and assists in identifying and correcting these problems.\nAbility to interact in a dynamic team environment with a positive attitude.\nAbility to operate powered industrial equipment.\n\nSkills and Experience Required:\n\nIndividuals must be able to monitor processes, materials, and equipment.\nIndividual must be able to work independently with minimal guidance required. This implies good time management, planning/organization, and decision-making skills.\nIndividual must be able to interact effectively with a wide variety of people in a wide variety of settings, possessing strong communication skills, maintaining flexibility, objectivity and a capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.\nParticipation and support of 5S initiatives and activities.\nActive involvement in Phenix’s Company mission statement, core values, and non-negotiables.\nHigh school diploma / GED / or equivalent.\nIndividual should possess basic math and computer skills.\n\nPhysical and Other Requirements:\nThis job is performed indoors in a temperature and humidity controlled environment. Job tasks are performed in close proximity to other people and include exposure to strobe lights, sounds and noise levels that could be distracting. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend or crouch. The employee must frequently stand, walk, talk, and occasionally lift, push, pull and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to\nadjust focus. Specific hearing abilities required by this job include ability to hear alarms and other sensors in a factory environment.
