Crane Mechanic

Job Description Gillmann Services is IMMEDIATELY hiring Experienced Crane Service Technician to join our service team for permanent work in Tampa, Florida. M-F 7am-4pm Pay $32-$35/hr BOE + Benefits kick in right away.Key ResponsibilitiesEquipment Maintenance and RepairDiagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain cranes and lifting equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.Perform preventive maintenance including lubrication, fluid changes, inspections, and replacement of wear components.Remove, disassemble, rebuild, and reinstall crane components including hoists, booms, hydraulic cylinders, pumps, gearboxes, and braking systems.Diagnose and repair electronic control systems including LMI systems, CANBUS communicationEquipment Operation and Field ServiceOperate cranes as needed to diagnose equipment issues and verify repairs.Travel to job sites to perform field service, maintenance, and emergency repairs.Types of Equipment ServicedMobile cranes, Rough terrain cranes, All-terrain cranes, Truck-mounted cranes, Telescopic boom cranes, Tower cranes, Overhead and bridge cranes, Gantry cranes, Jib cranes, Loader cranes and articulating cranesEducation and CertificationsTechnical training in heavy equipment repair, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred.Crane operator certification or ability to obtain certification.Valid driver's license with clean driving record.Additional certifications in electrical diagnostics, hydraulics, or crane inspection are a plus.Qualified candidates please submit your resume then call our administrative office at 813-934-6300 to schedule your interview today.
