WMS Product Manager Contract to PermLocation: 100% remote, but in the long run ideally someone in Dallas or Bentonville.Rate: $55/hr on w2 AlWal-Mart Stores, IncCandidate Profile: Senior PDMBuilding Roadmap, Working Cross Functionally with Teams, Laying out Strategy, Running Discovery Workshops, Facilitating Sessions to Capture More Requirements.Working between Architecture Teams and the Sam's Development TeamsBuzzwords: Product Management with Large Teams, Warehouse Management System (WMS), Fulfillment Centers, Manhattan WMS is the closest system to what Walmart has built, WMOS would stand out on a resume.Domain/Environment Size: Domain knowledge with Fulfillment/Warehouse Management will be key here. If they have done this in Retail or Consumer Goods or Manufacturing would be perfect.Certifications: CSPO, POPM would stand out, but experience is more important.Education: Bachelors preferredYears of Experience: Product experience needs to be 5+ years. Someone with a background as a PM or a Business Analyst before they moved into the Product space would really stand out for the requirements sessions.Tactical Aspects of this Job: JIRA and Confluence are needed for this role. May need to do presentations so PPT skills are important.
