This role troubleshoots mechanical and quality issues, performs minor maintenance, and ensures production meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nSet up bag machines according to production orders and customer specifications.\nTroubleshoot mechanical and quality issues during production runs.\nPerform minor preventative maintenance and adjustments on machinery.\nMaintain accurate floor shop and production documentation.\nMaintain general housekeeping standards in work area.\nFollow all company policies related to safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).\nCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding machine performance and production quality.\nSupport continuous improvement efforts related to machine efficiency and product quality.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nPrevious manufacturing or mechanical experience required.\nStrong mechanical aptitude required.\nAbility to read and accurately use measuring tools (e.g., tape measure).\nBasic reading, writing, and math skills required.\nGeneral computer literacy preferred.\n\nEssential Physical and Mental Requirements:\n\nAre expected to hold themselves and fellow employees accountable to Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Defense, Food Safety, SQF policies and procedures, and maintenance of an excellent food safety culture.
