The Developer will be responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation for a financial application.\nResponsibilities\nUses expertise to design develop, code, test, and debug software.\nWorks with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives.\nProvides analytical support and technical advice during the conceptualization, development, and implementation phases.\nPlans and schedules projects with user, systems software, and computer center operations personnel, including the identification of objectives, time frames, costs, and manpower requirements.\nReviews and evaluates systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria.\nMay perform as a project lead with the responsibility for the instruction, assigning, direction, and monitoring of the performance of assigned systems developers / analyst working on a specific project.\nIdentify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct problems.\nMinimum Requirements\nA minimum of 4 years of experience providing software development experience.\nExperience with Oracle PL/SQL.\nExperience with Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.\nSecurity+ certification is required.\nAbility to work with clients to understand their needs.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nProfessional presence is required.\nAbility to obtain a DoD Position of Trust.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience providing development support on a large-scale financial application.\nCapability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.\nAbility to maintain a positive relationship with customers and other vendors.\nDemonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies.\nPossess motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value.\nExperience using Tortoise SVN.\nExperience working in a Scrum team using Agile methods.\nKnowledge of Oracle APEX.\nAbout CSCI\nCSCI is an award-winning information technology and financial management consulting firm founded on one simple philosophy: “Do what is right, always.” We apply this philosophy across all elements of our growing business, from delivering world-class services for customers to providing an environment for associates that encourages personal and professional growth.
