Collaborate with developers and QA teams to design risk-based test scenarios, enhancing overall test coverage and reducing rework. Build and maintain automation across multiple layers, including API, integration, and functional testing, focusing on high-risk areas. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure test results are visible, repeatable, and actionable, supporting quality gates and defect triage. Assess existing automation approaches and recommend pragmatic modernization strategies, including migration and parallel-run validation. What's Needed?Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing, programming, and supporting software applications, particularly in .NET environments. Hands-on experience with Reqnroll and SpecFlow-style BDD frameworks, including feature files, step definitions, and tagging strategies. Expertise in API testing, designing robust automated API checks, and familiarity with tools like Postman or framework-based automation. Proven ability to lead test automation strategies, prioritize tasks, and deliver measurable improvements in test coverage. Strong understanding of software engineering practices such as version control, code reviews, CI/CD concepts, and automation code quality.
