The firm expects associates to bill 1,750 billable hours annually.Firm Information:Please visit longlevit.com for more detailed information about our firm.Key Responsibilities·        Manage discovery-related tasks, including subpoenas, motions to compel, and document review. ·        Review and analyze medical records and other case materials. ·        Draft evaluation letters, pleadings, motions, and discovery responses. ·        Assist with case evaluations, settlement analysis, and litigation strategy. ·        Support deposition, mediation, hearing, and trial preparation. ·        Collaborate with attorneys, clients, experts, and opposing counsel throughout the litigation process. QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership, or eligibility for admission, to the State Bar of California.Junior Associate level preferred (approximately 1-3 years of experience), though exceptional recent graduates or early-career attorneys with strong academic credentials and a demonstrated desire to learn are encouraged to apply.Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information and draft clear, persuasive legal documents.Experience or familiarity with litigation practice, including discovery management, motion practice, case analysis, and preparation for hearings, depositions, mediations, or trial.Experience in personal injury, professional liability, insurance defense, commercial litigation, or related practice areas is preferred.Ability to review, summarize, and analyze medical records, subpoenaed records, and other case-related materials. Familiarity with personal injury claims and damages evaluation is a plus.Experience preparing or managing subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, motions to compel, and related litigation tasks is highly desirable.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and maintain detailed and accurate case files.Excellent interpersonal and client-service skills, including professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, courts, experts, and internal team members.Demonstrated willingness to take ownership of both substantive legal work and essential litigation support tasks, including document review, exhibit preparation, and case organization.A collaborative, adaptable, and team-oriented approach, with flexibility to support the evolving needs of cases and clients.Strong work ethic, sound judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality legal work.A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to thrive in a collegial environment where mentorship, professionalism, and teamwork are highly valued.Candidates from plaintiff-side, defense-side, small firm, or large firm backgrounds will be considered.
