A successful candidate will have a background in software rollouts including requirements gathering, environment setup and install, configuration/development, training, go-live, and support.\nThe Software Implementation Specialist (SIS) will work as a key member of the Litigation team. The SIS is responsible for delivering contracted products and services such as reports, business rules, and general software configuration. The SIS will interact with customers as a primary representative for Journal Technologies and coordinate and complete various activities in the configuration process. The Software Implementation Specialist will be a standing expert on Journal Technologies’ Product offerings, our internal implementation processes, and the customer’s business processes.\nResponsibilities:\nConfigure case management software using built-in administrative user interface including forms (screens), searches, and workflow\nCreates business rules within the software using Groovy and Velocity\nGathers specifications for and reviews data conversion\nActively works on document/report specification gathering, development, and review\nConducts onsite administrative and user training and go-live assistance\nJava fluency\nKnowledge of Windows Server-based environments and networks\nKnowledge of interfacing with REST and SOAP APIs\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience, and knowledge of project management principles.\n3+ years of professional, full-time experience with querying relational databases, preferably TSQL or PL/SQL\nProven experience as an Implementation Specialist, preferably within a similar environment.\nProven ability to maintain focus and work effectively with multiple demands\nKnowledgeable on most: (Microsoft SQL database or Oracle database, and report software such as Jasper or Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL reporting services, Java, Groovy, and Velocity)\nAbility to demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking skills\nStrong client relationship skills\nAbility to work as part of a team to accomplish tasks\nMust be able to recognize basic procedural issues as they arise, then escalate appropriately\nThe ability to learn and apply basic concepts in new situations\nProficiency in the latest web technologies and working knowledge of various operating systems\nExcellent analytical and time management skills.\nTop-notch interpersonal abilities.\nAffinity for multitasking with precision.\nAbility to travel to client sites.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExcellent Customer Service\nIndustry knowledge in Legal Technology\n\nLocation: Must be located in Logan, UT, or able to work in the office.\n\nThe above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job function.
