As part of the Marmon Plumbing & Refrigeration Group, we combine the strength of a global organization with the agility of a local business, and we're just getting started.\r\nWhat You'll Do This newly created position is a key finance leadership role responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and supporting the continued growth of the business. As Controller, you will play a critical role in both day-to-day financial management and building the infrastructure needed to sustain long-term growth.\r\nIn this role, you will:\r\nLead core accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, fixed asset tracking, A/P check review, and audit prep\r\nDocument workflows and define internal controls (Requisition-to-Payment, Order-to-Cash)\r\nSupport the development of a scalable, sustainable costing system\r\nMaintain our parent company's corporate consolidation system\r\nManage and develop the accounting team\r\nHave full Controller-level responsibility for financial reporting, balance sheet and P&L management, and internal controls\r\nPartner with the Finance leader to provide insights and financial leadership to the President and executive team\r\nLeading month-end reporting, supporting FP&A, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting\r\nDriving business support, financial strategy, and continuous improvement across the organization\r\nWhat You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.\r\n7+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a multi-site manufacturing environment\r\nStrong background in FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting\r\nProficiency with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 strongly preferred); ERP implementation experience is a plus\r\nAdvanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities; experience with consolidation systems is a bonus\r\nStrong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving skills\r\nClear and effective communication with both financial and non-financial stakeholders\r\nWillingness to be hands-on with transactional work when needed, especially during system transitions or project phases\r\nPreferred: Public accounting or audit background\r\nExperience with complex manufacturing cost structures\r\nDemonstrated success in high-growth or transformation-stage environments\r\nWhat You'll Gain The chance to help shape financial systems and strategy from the ground up\r\nDirect exposure to executive leadership and cross-functional decision-making\r\nA collaborative, high-impact work environment focused on growth and innovation\r\nComprehensive benefits, including:\r\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\r\nPrescription drug coverage\r\n401(k) with company match\r\nFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.\r\nWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
