The selected candidates for these positions will play a key role in the development of software for commercial human spaceflight modules.\nKey Duties:\nDesign, develop, test, integrate, and deploy software solutions such as propulsion, command & data handling (C&DH), environmental control and life support systems (ECLSS), guidance navigation and control (GN&C), caution and warning (C&W), networks, datalinks, power, and other flight systems.\nDesign, develop, test, integrate, and deploy software in prototype, simulation, and flight environments.\nCommunicate with subject matter experts across disciplines, users, and management throughout the software test and development lifecycle.\nMaintain disciplined software configuration control and management processes.\n\nRequired Skills, Experience, and Education:\nDue to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens or permanent residents are eligible for consideration at this time.\nAbility to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.\n2 or more years of related experience.\nExperience developing code in languages such as C, C++, Rust, VHDL, and Python in a Linux environment.\nGood written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\nBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or another related technical discipline.\nDesired Skills, Experience, and Education:\nFlight software experience.\nExperience with scrum and the agile framework using tools such as JIRA\nExperience with Git, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), JAMA, and Confluence.\nComfortable with common embedded communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, USB, RS-232/422/485, and ethernet.\nExperience working with networking protocols such as TSN, UDP, and TCP.\nWorking with software development standards such as DO-178C.\nExperience designing software in UML such as use-case diagrams, activity diagrams, timing diagrams, etc.\nBusiness Profile:\nCimarron is a global solutions company with a strategic partnering approach to satisfying customer-driven requirements.
