Your final pay will be based on skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.\r\nResponsibilities / What you'll do Act as a principal \"founding\" engineer: help lay the foundation, touch every piece of code, and delegate as scope rapidly expands.\r\nTackle tough engineering problems with a strong focus, primarily as an individual contributor (this role is not for a manager or aspiring manager).\r\nQualifications Requirements\r\nEnergy and passion of a principal founding engineer who wants to own foundational work and grow with the team.\r\nStrong hands-on coding capability with a preference for IC work; leadership and collaboration as needed during scaling.\r\nNICE TO HAVE\r\nExperience or interest in the Insurance industry and/or Sports Betting industry.\r\nLocation HQ in the Denver area. Hybrid role with an expectation of in-office 2-3 days per week. They may consider candidates able to drive to HQ 1 day per week as the team grows.\r\nSalary / Benefits Budgeted salary range: $180K – $200K + 10% Bonus and strong equity. Benefits include Health, Dental, Vision, and 401K (no employer match). PTO is open-ended.
