This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our next-generation investment services platform. As part of a startup-minded, agile team, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing scalable software solutions that enhance the digital experience for our members and financial advisors. Working with modern technologies such as Go, Java, APIs, and OpenShift, you will help deliver innovative, digital-first tools that support USAA’s commitment to excellence and security.The Junior Software Engineer will engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and analysis to testing, documentation, and deployment. This position offers a flexible work environment, with a requirement to be in the office four days a week, based in either San Antonio, TX, or Plano, TX. Candidates should have experience in software development using Java or Python and possess foundational knowledge of software development principles and practices. A basic understanding of cloud technologies and tools is preferred.
