Our facilities are equipped to provide our customers with exceptional engineering, machining, welding, fabrication and machine assembly and disassembly capabilities.\n\nJob Description\n\nAbout the role\nTo tear down/disassemble large manufacturing equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures\nVerify and prepare all part/ components for welding, machining, and assembly.\nTo read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately and efficiently disassemble equipment and products.\nTo perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards, using in-process inspection tools and devices\nTo Work with shop equipment, power tools and torches\nTo operate overhead cranes to move component parts\nMust be capable of handling tasks requiring moderate to heavy physical exertion and to also be able to stoop, bend, twist, and climb up onto the large equipment components while performing the disassembly duties.\nTo work in a safe manner at all times following established policies and procedures and maintain a good sense of safety and hazard awareness.\nMust be able to work with solvents, grease, and grime under relatively adverse physical conditions.\n\nQualifications\n\nAbout you\nKnowledge and abilities\nAbility to:\nverbally communicate with team members, supervisors and Engineers\nuse judgment to plan, perform and make decisions as to the sequence of operations and processes within the limitations of established or standard methods and procedures\nable to interpret customer prints well enough to determine appropriate disassembly sequence for variety of heavy equipment\nto read, interpreting variety of assembly prints and understanding verbal and written instructions\ndemonstrate basic computer skills and ability to use basic shop math\nOther Qualification\nMust have mechanical ability to proficiently use cranes and other heavy tools and equipment that are normally required in the daily disassembly operations\nOwn tools of the trade, and the ability to use them effectively\nEducation, qualifications and certifications\nHigh school or equivalent, trade school preferred\nExperience\n3-5 years’ mechanical assembly and dis assembly experience\n\nAdditional Information\n\nThe benefits of joining our team\nBecause we seek to hire the best people, we work hard to provide benefits that make their lives better, so we offer a comprehensive benefit program which features:\nhealth coverage for you and your family through medical, dental and vision plans\na 401(k) plan in with a generous company match\nfinancial protection through disability, life, and accidental death & dismemberment insurance plans\ntax advantages through flexible spending accounts that allow you to pay for specific health-care and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars\na generous paid time off program in which the benefits increase along with your tenure with the company\nWhen you join our team, you do more than simply switch companies to progress your career.
