The Modeling, Analytics, and Simulation Sciences (MASS) Operation is seeking a Digital Engineer to support our customers at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). As a Digital Engineer on our team, you will use your combined MBSE and software knowledge/experience to help shape and implement digital solutions and services for our customers. You will work alongside engineers and software developers to develop authoritative engineering models that contribute to our nation’s defense. You’ll apply your knowledge of engineering processes, tools, methods, and programs to design and integrate system architectures, interfaces, and workflows to support Department of Defense (DoD) processes. Familiarity with domains such as defense, aerospace, or information technology is highly beneficial.\nResponsibilities As a Digital Engineer you will:\nSupport customers at NASIC by developing authoritative engineering models.\nShape and implement digital solutions and services using MBSE and software knowledge.\nWork alongside engineers and software developers to design and integrate system architectures, interfaces, and workflows.\nApply engineering processes, tools, methods, and programs to support DoD processes.\nQualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace, or related technical field.\nMinimum of 3 years of relevant experience.\nExperience using DE and MBSE tools and processes to create and manage tailored model‑based artifacts that meet customer requirements.\nKnowledge of object‑oriented programming languages, including Java, C++, or Python.\nExperience with software engineering and integrating different software platforms/tools.\nStrong knowledge of SysML/UML for modeling architectures and system behaviors.\nProficiency with MBSE methodologies and tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect).\nExperience with relational Ontologies, APIs, and designing schemas for workflows.\nFamiliarity with DE concepts such as Digital Thread/Digital Twin applications, automation, and integration of MBSE across organizations.\nAbility to work effectively in a multi‑disciplinary team environment, including internal staff, external contractors, and government customers.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce and present technical documentation and artifacts.\nActive TS/SCI security clearance.\nDesired Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Engineering field or related certifications such as OCSMP Certifications, INCOSE CSEP, or Project Management PMP (among others).\nProven experience leading engineering teams through all phases of the Systems Engineering lifecycle using Digital Engineering methodologies.\nKnowledge of SysML 2.0.\nExperience in managing data from interdisciplinary and various program protection levels.\nKnowledge and interest in interdisciplinary work spanning Systems Engineering, Computer Science, and Data Science.\nKnowledge of configuration management, risk management, and cybersecurity.\nExperience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), or other architecture frameworks.\nEqual Opportunity Employer Radiance Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
