This role serves as a strategic partner to business leadership, providing financial insights, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and driving performance through accurate reporting and analysis. The Controller manages the integrity of the unit’s financial statements and plays a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and decision support.\nKey Responsibilities:\nFinancial Reporting & Compliance\nPrepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the business unit\nEnsure compliance with US GAAP/IFRS, corporate policies, and internal controls\nManage account reconciliations, journal entries, and close processes for accuracy and timeliness\nCoordinate with internal and external auditors as needed\nBudgeting & Forecasting\nLead the annual budget and periodic forecasting processes for the business unit\nProvide variance analysis and explanations to management\nIdentify risks and opportunities, recommending corrective actions where necessary\nBusiness Support & Analysis\nPartner with operations and business leadership to provide actionable financial insights\nDevelop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive efficiency and profitability\nSupport strategic initiatives, new projects, and capital investments with financial modeling and scenario planning\nSupport business growth initiatives, including new process development, ERP implementations, system upgrades, and other transformational projects\nControls & Risk Management\nMaintain a strong internal control environment within the business unit\nEnsure adherence to corporate accounting policies and procedures\nMonitor and mitigate financial risks by ensuring accuracy in reporting and forecasting\nLeadership & Team Development\nSupervise and mentor accounting staff supporting the business unit\nFoster collaboration between finance, operations, and corporate functions\nPromote a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)\nA minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 in a controller or senior accounting or finance leadership role\nStrong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial reporting, and internal controls\nAdvanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft GP, D365, SAP, Oracle, or similar)\nExcellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills\nAbility to balance strategic thinking with detailed financial execution\nBenefits:\nCompetitive salary\nComprehensive benefits package (including health, dental, and vision insurance)\n401(k)\nPaid time off\nOpportunities for professional development and growth\nPhysical Requirements:\nWork Environment: This job operates in a professional office setting.
