Job Title: Lot AssociateDepartment: Sales / OperationsReports to: General Sales ManagerClassification: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday - Saturday (Sunday, and another day off tbd)Job DescriptionThe Lot Associate is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, organization, and readiness of all vehicles and outdoor areas at The Barker Automotive Group. This role ensures that every vehicle on the lot is presented in a clean, professional, and front-line ready condition at all times.The Lot Associate plays a key role in the dealerships first impression. They are responsible for making sure vehicles are properly staged, clean on the exterior, fueled, and aligned to reflect the standards of the Barker brand.This position requires attention to detail, consistency, and a strong sense of ownership over the physical presentation of the dealership. The Lot Associate must work closely with the sales and management teams to ensure vehicles are always ready for customers to view and purchase.The Lot Associate will report to and work closely with the General Sales Manager, using their skills in the following areas:Major Responsibilities and Activities:Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all vehicles on the lotEnsure all vehicles are:Properly parked and alignedClean on the exterior (washed and dried as needed)Free of debris, dirt, snow, and residueEnsure all vehicles have:Adequate fuel levelsCorrect plate frames installedCorrect bumper stickers and branding appliedMonitor and maintain the overall appearance of the lot, including:Straight lines of vehiclesClear walkways and drive lanesClean and professional presentation of all areasMove vehicles as needed to support sales, service, and deliveriesAssist in staging vehicles for display, photos, or customer pickupPerform regular lot walks to identify and correct any issuesCommunicate with management regarding vehicles that need attentionWorks Directly With:Sales ManagerSales ConsultantsLot Attendants / PortersService Department (as needed for reconditioning)Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, reach, and handle cleaning tools or supplies. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Requires mobility to enter and exit vehicles repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions. Must be able to remain on feet for extended periods and maintain focus while performing physical and repetitive tasks.
