The Database Administrator designs, implements, and maintains moderately complex databases. This role is responsible for maintaining database dictionaries, ensuring the integration of systems through effective database design, and administering and testing computer databases by applying a deep knowledge of database management systems. Additionally, the Database Administrator coordinates changes to computer databases and may plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, implement, and maintain moderately complex databases.\nMaintain database dictionaries and ensure the integration of various systems through effective database design.\nAdminister and test computer databases, utilizing knowledge of database management systems.\nCoordinate changes to computer databases to ensure data integrity and system efficiency.\nPlan, coordinate, and implement security measures to protect computer databases from unauthorized access or data breaches.\n\nThe position would be located at a government facility in Washington, D.C. and require work to be performed onsite. Any hybrid work schedule would require customer approval. The government has established policies for on-site vs hybrid work which varies across divisions and contracts. Where allowed, remote work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.\n\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $139,000 – $162,000.
