Join the transformation and innovate with us.\n\nBlueHalo is growing, and we are seeking a Senior Manager of Accounting., who will work as part of a team driving accounting excellence and standardized accounting practices to be in compliance with all Federal Accounting Standards, across all BlueHalo businesses This would include implementing efficiencies where applicable, with a focus on accounting compliance regarding federal contracts. The position is responsible for supporting financial statement consolidation, reporting, analysis, and ad hoc Accounting projects. The role will support standardizing and documenting processes, supporting internal controls, and working with Accounting and FP&A leadership on various initiatives.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO:\nAble to manage and support spe\nTake a leading role supporting financial consolidation and reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.\nStandardize and improve reporting processes related to required disclosures for public financial statements and footnotes.\nSupport financial reporting system implementations.\nGather and compile data to support audits and other filings.\nWorks with other departments to provide guidance and resolve issues.\ncial projects as assigned by the Controller.\nWHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, math, business administration, or a related field.\n10+ years of experience in accounting, public experience preferred.\nExperienced in handling complex organizational structures in a related industry.\nDemonstrated experience with Onestream supporting a financial close and financial statement analysis.\nDemonstrated experience analyzing financial statements and supporting quarterly reporting requirements (e.g. balance sheet fluxes, MD&A support, etc.)\nExperience with internal re-organizations and working through impacts on financial reporting\nAbility to meet financial reporting deadlines and time sensitive Ad hoc requests.\nProven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.\nStrong mathematical and analytical skills.\nProficient with Excel and ability to manage large databases.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nExperience working with intercompany transactions and reconciliation.\nExcellent communicator and organization in a fast-paced environment.\nExperience with UNANET a plus.\nPrefer 6+ yrs. of leadership skills in a corporate setting\nThe BlueHalo Effect\n\nIt speaks to who we are as a company, a global protective ring that shields everything we most want to safeguard, an unbroken line that ensures our customers retain the advantage in any battlespace, from high above the Earth to deep in cyberspace.
