Mentors analytics engineers, drives adoption of modern data transformation tools like dbt, and partners with stakeholders to translate complex business challenges into actionable data products. Responsibilities include roadmap planning, process improvement, quality assurance, and alignment with data governance and AI-readiness standards.\n\nLead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of analytics engineers.\nFoster a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative team culture.\nProvide regular coaching, feedback, and career development support.\nTranslate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions.\nDefine and implement best practices for data modeling, transformation, and delivery.\nDrive the adoption of modern analytics engineering tools and methodologies, including dbt.\nOversee the design and maintenance of analytics-ready data models.\nEnsure efficient and reliable data pipelines using Snowflake, SQL and dbt.\nPromote reusable, modular, and well-documented code across the team.\nEnsure datasets are structured, labeled, and validated for AI and machine learning use cases.\nCollaborate with data science and AI teams to support model training and deployment.\nAdvocate for scalable data architecture that supports advanced analytics.\nImplement data governance standards, including metadata management and data lineage.\nMonitor and improve data quality, integrity, and consistency across platforms.\nEnsure compliance with enterprise data policies and regulatory requirements.\nPartner with business leaders, product managers, and data consumers to understand needs and deliver insights.\nCommunicate technical concepts and analytics outcomes to non-technical audiences.\nPresent findings, roadmaps, and recommendations to senior leadership.\nManage the analytics engineering infrastructure, including cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).\nEvaluate and integrate new tools to enhance productivity and scalability.\nMaintain CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows for analytics code deployment.\nPlan and prioritize analytics engineering initiatives aligned with business goals.\nTrack progress, measure impact, and ensure timely delivery of data products.\nIdentify and mitigate risks related to data infrastructure and analytics operations.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nComplies with all policies and standards.\nEducation/Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience.\n\nOr equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.Pay Range: $102,900.00 - $190,500.00 per year\n\nAt Centene, we connect people to the care they need to live healthier lives — and the work you do here makes that impact real every day.
