This is a hands-on role working remotely where the Controller will directly perform the work and report to the Director of Finance.\nThe Controller responsibilities include the accurate and timely preparation and analyses of all facets of the financial operations of the company, including financial statement preparation, cash management, budget preparation and analyses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and all other fiscally related duties.\n\nJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nResponsible for all aspects of accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger entries, bank reconciliation, credit card reconciliation, cash applications, collections, and payroll)\nResponsible for timely and accurate financial month end close and balance sheet reconciliation\nResponsible for quarterly budget reporting\nResponsible for cash management, including performing wire payments to contractors and ACH payments\nCoordinate and direct the development and preparation of budgets, forecasts, and projections\nAssist CPAs in gathering documents for preparation of annual tax returns\nReview UK and EU VAT taxes, corporate taxes, and ensure timely payments\nReview and maintain annual business licenses\nPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, bank reports, and various detailed analysis reports, including MISC-1099 and other managerial reports as required..\nPerform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned\n\nThorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles\nStrong leadership, management, and organizational skills\nStrong analytical and reasoning abilities with superior numeric skills\nPossess well-developed interpersonal and communication, verbal, and written skills\nFocus on result and profit orientation with the ability to balance other business considerations and perform multifaceted projects\nHigh level of motivation and the ability to function independently and multi-task\nExcellent attention to detail.\nProficiency in Quickbooks Online, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook\n\nMINIMUM ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:\nMinimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, combined with 10+ years experience in Accounting/Finance; CMA or CPA strongly preferred\n\nWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT\n100% premium coverage for you and your dependents.\nSelf-managed time off.\nFlexible schedule.\nFully remote work environment.\nCompensation for this position will be tailored based on qualifications and experience. Candidates offered the position can expect a starting base salary between $120,000 and $150,000 per year.
