The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nHigh proficiency in Excel, Word, and Office required.\n2 years’ general banking experience or similar experience preferred.\nPrevious data processing experience preferred.\nProven work experience demonstrating strong multi-tasking, organizational, customer service, and adaptability skills.\nHOURS OF AVAILABILITY: Regularly Scheduled Hours/Week: 40 (+) Hours | Monday-Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm | Occasional 7:00am - 4:00pm | Extended workings hours may be required.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nAdhere to strict privacy regarding customer account information. Maintain customer confidence and protect bank operations by keeping information confidential.\nProvide exceptional customer service and execute operational excellence. In person: Greet every customer with a smile, maintain eye contact, call them by name, stay connected in conversation and let them know they are appreciated. When on the telephone: Speak with a smile, call them by name, stay connected in the conversation and let them know they are appreciated.\nAbility to articulate effectively by answering questions in person or on the telephone. Refer customers to other bank services as necessary.\nAbility to logically comprehend and execute detailed written or oral instructions as well as ability to read, interpret and comprehend short correspondence and memos.\nAbility to clearly and professionally present information and respond to questions from employees, coworkers, and potential customers.\nVerify various system processes.\nMonitor system reports.\nSend and receive files via AS400 and other systems.\nBalance internal general ledger and checking accounts.\nMaintain and monitor systems such as, but not limited to AS400, iTera, VTL, and Bankway.\nCreate and manage tickets with third party venders.\nAssist in covering various department desks as assigned.\nOperate computer, telephone, keyboard, scanner, and copier. Basic computer skills including knowledge of Outlook, typing, 10-key and the internet. High proficiency in Excel, Word, and Office is required and proficiency in Bankway will be required.\nMust be able to arrive at work on time, work on-site and work cooperatively with other coworkers.\nMust be able to prioritize projects and exhibit strong problem-solving skills. Self-directed, use initiative to identify needs and conceptualize how to meet those needs.\nAbility to adapt to changing conditions and work assignments. Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and timely.\nIntermediate mathematical aptitude and ability to use mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions and percentages) is required.\nComplete all online compliance Teal Training courses in a timely manner.\nManagement will determine when employees attend trainings.\nWork location and/or additional duties may be assigned or required by management.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.\nSOFT SKILLS\nFoster a culture that values critical thinking and problem solving, engagement, inclusion, diversity and execute operational excellence.
