This is a contract role working directly with the team to influence mobile design at scale.\nHere's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team\nDesign and refine Android UI components that balance Material Design conventions with the organization’s cross-platform design language\nScope components with engineering and produce specs that translate into Jetpack Compose implementations\nCollaborate with designers working on iOS, web, and desktop to align patterns while respecting platform differences\nContribute documentation and usage guidance so product teams can adopt components confidently\nHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role\n5+ years of product design experience with significant time designing for Android\nFluency in Material Design and the judgment to follow, extend, or diverge from it appropriately\nExperience designing components and patterns as part of a design system\nStrong collaboration skills with engineering partners; familiarity with how Android components are built (Jetpack Compose experience a plus)\nClear written and verbal communication for cross-discipline stakeholders (designers, engineers, PMs)\nAbility to ramp quickly and work independently within an established system\nA degree or certification in product design\nHere's What Else Might Help You Out\nPrior experience contributing to a public or large-scale design system\nFamiliarity with accessibility standards on Android (TalkBack, touch targets, motion preferences)\nExperience designing across multiple platforms (iOS, web)\nBackground working with creative or productivity tools\nPay Range\n$52.39 - $65.49/hour\nReady to Make Your Mark?\nThis role may fill quickly.
