The ideal candidate will bring a combination of hands-on technical expertise, intermediate scripting skills, and a foundational understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts to help drive smart factory initiatives.\nYour Role\nDesign, implement, and maintain SCADA solutions using Ignition, focusing on Vision and Perspective modules.\nDevelop and customize automation workflows through scripting (Python, JavaScript, or Ignition’s scripting environment).\nIntegrate databases for data logging, reporting, and analytics using SQL or other relational database platforms.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support Industry 4.0 and smart factory initiatives.\nTroubleshoot and optimize SCADA systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.\nParticipate in system upgrades, expansions, and ongoing maintenance activities.\nYour Skills and Experience\nSCADA Expertise Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Ignition SCADA, including both Vision & Perspective modules.\nScripting Skills Intermediate proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Ignition’s scripting environment, with a focus on automation, data processing, and UI customization.\nDatabase Knowledge Basic to intermediate experience with SQL or other relational databases, specifically in the context of data logging, reporting, and analytics.\nIndustry 4.0 Awareness Foundational understanding of smart factory concepts and related technologies.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.\nEffective collaboration and communication skills.\nThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $74,041 - $148,082 / year.\nCapgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
