You’ll spend time on the plant floor comparing existing electrical drawings to actual equipment, identifying discrepancies, and updating documentation to accurately reflect field conditions.What You’ll Do:Review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel drawingsPerform field verification/walkdowns of manufacturing equipmentIdentify differences between drawings and installed equipmentRedline and update electrical drawings and as-builtsTrace wiring, circuits, panels, motors, sensors, and other componentsUpdate drawings following equipment modifications or decommissioningPartner with engineers, electricians, maintenance, and manufacturing teamsWhat We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field2+ years of relevant electrical engineering/documentation experienceStrong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagramsExperience creating, modifying, or redlining electrical drawingsAutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical experienceKnowledge of industrial electrical systems, control panels, wiring, motors, sensors, and circuitsManufacturing/industrial equipment experience strongly preferredAs-built drawings and field verification experience are highly desirableMust be able to work 100% onsite in ChicagoIf you have experience taking electrical drawings into the field, verifying them against actual equipment, and updating them to reflect what is really installed, we’d like to hear from you.Interested?
