Our desire is to see individuals reach their full potential, and create lasting change that will stand the test of time.\n\nThis job will expire in 10 days.\n\nJOB SUMMARY\nThe Program Director reports to the Regional Director and is responsible for the coordination of direct client care and client activities of the facility while assisting in the supervision of all agency program staff as it pertains to direct client care.\n\nESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nDevelopment of program activities and program documentation procedures.\n\nAssist in the direction of the resident’s treatment as outlined in the resident’s Person Centered Plan in compliance with the Program Design.\n\nTransport clients as needed.\n\nRecruit and screen facility staff in accordance with Turning Point of Central California, Inc. policy and procedures.\n\nMake recommendations in regard to employing and terminating staff.\n\nAssist in the supervision of program staff regarding their skills, overall functioning and program management.\n\nProduce monthly reports as required not limited to treatment summaries, discharge summaries, or alteration of residents’ goals and outcomes.\n\nWork with Social Worker to assure compliance with proper chart documentation.\n\nAssist in the provision of direct services to clients—including working shifts to ensure adequate coverage if directed by each resident’s Person Centered Plan.\n\nEnter significant information related to client’s treatment in resident’s file.\n\nAssist in the coordination of the Person Centered Plan and individualized service plan for each resident.\n\nOversee the admittance of all clients and that relevant admitting paperwork/information is complete.\n\nAttend relevant meetings, specifically participation on the treatment team assigned to the facility.\n\nDetermine staff assignments to ensure the facility is staffed 7 days per week per contract.\n\nApprove and monitor expenditures and revenues, including client’s Purchase Authorization terms.\n\nMonitor facility food and supply stocks to maintain compliance with CCL regulations.\n\nBe present at the facility to resolve any major problems, including neighborhood complaints if any.\n\nWill drive on Agency business and transport clients if needed.\n\nMaintain regular on-site hours for successful oversight of program.\n\nWill think and act quickly and efficiently in emergencies.\n\nPhysical presence at the program is required.\n\nEnsure direct report staff follow the agency’s timecard, PTO (Paid Time Off), and California’s rest and meal period policies. Will monitor staff timesheets to ensure they are completed accurately.\n\nEmployees are expected to manage their cell phone use so that the Agency cell phone stipend covers all business usage. Any calls not covered by the stipend are to be made on a company landline phone.\n\nESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS\n\nHave a minimum of two years of prior experience providing direct care or supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities and be one of the following:\n\n(A) A Registered Behavior Technician.\n\n(B) A Licensed Psychiatric Technician.\n\n(C) A Qualified Behavior Modification Professional.\n\nShall complete the Registered Behavior Technician Training within 60 days of date of hire and will maintain certification for duration of employment.\n\nMust complete the Residential Services Orientation\n\nAbility to supervise staff and work effectively with developmentally disabled system clients.\n\nCurrent certified training in CPR/First Aid procedures.\n\nCompletion of 16 hours of Emergency Intervention Training (Pro-Act training, etc.) within the first 80 hours of employment.\n\nHave a current CCL Group Home Administrator Certification.\n\nComplete and pass DSP Year one within 6 months of employment and DSP Year 2 within first year of employment.\n\nMust be available by cell phone as needed.\n\nIntermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Office 365, Teams, Zoom and other communication/meeting platforms.\n\nPossess a valid driver’s license and have access to a dependable means of transportation that is properly insured and operated in accordance with all laws.
