Information Security Analyst 4 Governance & Data Protection (Contingent)Client: Financial ServicesLocation: Charlotte, NC or Chandler, AZContract Length: 12 mo Pay Rate: $69 - $74Top Requirements:5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience (or equivalent via work, consulting, training, military, or education).Demonstrated lead or senior-level experience, influencing outcomes without formal authority.Exceptional attention to detail with ability to produce audit-defensible deliverables.Strong written and verbal communication skills, suitable for executive, Board-level, and audit audiences.Experience operating in large, highly regulated enterprise environments.Plusses:Experience with enterprise information protection or data-at-rest security programs.Hands-on experience owning enterprise metrics, dashboards, or KPI cycles.Familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or metrics governance frameworks.Experience supporting Board-level reporting and audit readiness.Exposure to automation tools (Power Automate, Microsoft Lists) for governance workflows.Job Summary:The Information Security Analyst 4 is a senior-level individual contributor performing steady-state governance and risk work within the Information Protection domain. The role focuses on executing enterprise data-at-rest protection governance, running recurring enterprise metrics, supporting audit readiness, and influencing remediation across technology and risk partners. Success requires strong professional judgment, disciplined execution, high attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently in a highly visible, regulated environment.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Execute governance activities supporting enterprise data-at-rest protection requirements.Own and manage recurring enterprise metrics cycles, including: validation, analysis, commentary, remediation coordination.Analyze risk and control gaps and influence remediation decisions with technology and risk stakeholders.Interpret and apply information security policies and standards.Produce audit-defensible documentation and reporting artifacts.Support enterprise risk management and Board-level reporting needs.Participate in and support responsible automation and AI adoption through governance execution.Maintain accurate, timely governance documentation with minimal oversight.Collaborate with peers, managers, and internal stakeholders to meet defined outcomes.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
