You will report to the Patient Access Curator/Coverage Discovery product team within the client’s Health and support stakeholder decision-making while analyzing platform and data usage patterns across legacy and new tools and systems. This work may directly shape product and development team priorities. Work will include researching data and development dependencies, analyzing usage patterns, and documenting requirements to inform decision making. This role is imperative to ensure accurate, applicable data insights across the organization, and to a smooth transition as we modernize our platforms.You'll have opportunity to work on:Data Analysis:Work with partners and address their reporting requirementsCollaborate with the product and development teamHelp with query optimizationResearch and identify dependencies to support platform updatesAnalyze usage and adoption patterns to help determine what data, rules, or configurations should carry forward during migrations or be transitioned to the new tools/product versus what can be retiredPerform comparative analysis across systems or platforms to identify where functionality maps directly and where it needs to be redesignedAnalyze clients and configurations to identify migration candidates, risks, and transition readinessAnalyze how settings and configurations are used across different levels (e.g., account, client, user) to inform system design and migration decisionsQuery Execution:Write and implement complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze dataPerform data retrieval and manipulation using MongoDB queriesReporting:Produce detailed and actionable reports based on data analysis and query resultsPresent findings and insights to partnersTroubleshoot and resolve data-related issuesDocument and maintain clear requirements and analysis findings (e.g., in Confluence or similar tools) to support ongoing projects and migrationsCollaboration:Work with other team members and departments to understand data needs and provide analytical supportPartner with product and implementation teams to validate requirements against real-world usageQualifications:3+ years' experience in SQL and MongoDB required3+ years' experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a focus on payer data or healthcare data3+ years' experience with data analysis, data integration, and database management3+ years' experience with data visualization tools and techniquesExperience analyzing large datasets and extracting meaningful insights and presenting complex data and findings conciselyBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are welcomeExperience with data integration tools or platformsExperience supporting platform modernization, product consolidation, migration, or sunset initiatives preferredExperience and comfort using AI tools (e.g., LLMs, AI-assisted coding and analysis platforms) to accelerate data analysis, documentation, and requirements work, paired with the judgement to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracyKnowledge of data warehousing concepts and practicesFamiliarity with additional programming languages or data manipulation toolsExperience gathering, documenting, and validating business or technical requirements, ideally in a system migration or platform-consolidation contextFamiliarity with requirements and documentation tools such as Confluence or JiraTeam culture/work environment:Communicative teamOpen and honestCollaborativeTeam-orientedFlexibleKey projects: AI, SQL and query projects (more on the analyst side)Purpose of this team: Builds and manages data platforms, software, and workflow solutions that help healthcare providers, payers, and patients manage revenue cycles, patient data, and administrative compliance.Reason for the request: Supplement Additional WorkloadMotivators for this need: Time (Need CW ASAP)Possibility for Extension or conversion: NoDaily Responsibilities:See job description aboveInteraction level with team:Product team, development team, architecture team, business analystsTechnology requirements?: Degree or certifications required?:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
