The Opportunity
The Jr. Business Consultant will work to prospect new business and assist business owners to access working capital. Utilizing their telephone sales skills and understanding of small businesses, Business Consultants look to convert qualified leads into happy clients. In addition, they will work with other business units to facilitate the funding process.
What You Will Do:
Use consultative selling approach to discuss and educate prospects about the financing solutions
Work with prospects to understand their business goals
Partner with other internal business units to assist each client through the funding process
Recommend and close prospective clients on our finance programs
Obtain applications and collect financial documentation from prospective clients
Continue to work with merchant after funding to fulfill renewal opportunities
Effective use of email and phone calls to stay in touch with old leads with a goal of future funding
Excellent verbal communication skills
Use of Google Suite is a plus
Proficient typing skills and computer skills
Proven track record of sales experience, professional attitude and strong work ethic
Excellent organizational abilities to multi-tasking, prioritize and manage time effectively
What Makes You Special:
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
0-1 years of experience preferably in the business or financial industry
Excellent verbal communication skills
Use of Google Suite is a plus
