Candidates with a background in fine dining, hospitality, or food industry settings will find this position aligns well with their skills and career goals.\nDuties\nGreet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm\nTake accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems - Toast\nUpsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales\nServe food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation\nEnsure timely delivery of orders and check on guests throughout their meal\nHandle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems\nMaintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards\nAssist with bussing tables and resetting for new guests as needed\nAddress guest inquiries promptly, providing excellent customer service and guest relations\nCollaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and delivery\nFollow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures\nQualifications\nPrevious experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus\nStrong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously\nExcellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours\nBasic math skills for cash handling and order calculations\nKnowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures\nAbility to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and sales\nExperience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/host roles is advantageous\nFlexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays as required by the restaurant schedule\nThis position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
