{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"e68b23c9be55aa7e56a11cf8","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e68b23c9be55aa7e56a11cf8","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e68b23c9be55aa7e56a11cf8","title":"Field Engineer","description":"Employment: Type Full-time\n\n*Job Summary:* Responsible for the design, specifications and management of installations of integrated systems.\n\n*Key Responsibilities*Ensure that systems are commissioned honoring the design SOF, Technical Scope of Work, and customer intent.\nConfirms that that system design meets the scope of work and is congruent with the client expectations for system operation.\nModify system engineering as needed while documenting redline updates on system drawings.\nProvide clear and concise documentation on any configurations needed for successful implementation (i.e., network configurations, video settings, DSP settings, etc.).\nIdentify and assist in change orders during project installation phase and notify Project Manager.\nDiagnose and correct system deficiencies and develop effective solutions.\nEstablish and maintain positive and effective line of communication with other team members.\nEnsure project managers are well informed on status of development effort and programming status of assigned projects.\nParticipate in the development, implementation, and documentation of control programming standards to include graphical appearance, custom code, and system functionality if one has not yet been established.\nEnsure all new code adheres to the Solutionz standards and complies with the Solutionz “standard templates”.\nProgram audio DSPs to meet system functionality to and EQ the system to provide optimal performance based on the system requirements.\nIf needed, assist other departments with technical support issues.\nEnsure fabrication and installation efforts adhere to AV best practices.\nComplete system test and acceptance for installations both remotely and onsite.\nPerform R&D tasks both in house and in the field as needed.\nWork with Solutionz departments to support technical escalations from the Field Team.\nAbility to be a team player as well as work independently.\nMentor less experienced technical staff.\nPerform other tasks as requested by the Field Engineer Team Lead and/or Director of Engineering.\n\n*Universal Responsibilities:*Adopt the Solutionz’ Four Pillars.\nUnderstand that you are the front-line ambassador of the Solutionz brand. Work to impress our customers every day.\nAlways represent Solutionz in a positive and professional manner.\nProductively interface with all team members and project stakeholders – internal and external.\nUnderstand and follow Solutionz policies and procedures.\nProactively identify and discuss ideas to improve policies and procedures.\nDemonstrate respect to co-workers, customers, and vendors.\nTake responsibility for your own actions and activities.\nPromptly reply to all email and voicemail communications, including outside of standard work hours when required.\nComplete timecards daily.\nKeep work area clean and free of clutter, to include (where applicable) office space, company vehicles and job sites.\nKeep all scheduled activities current in your Solutionz MS Outlook calendar.\nBe respectful in the care and handling of all company and client owned resources.\n\n*Requirements *\n3 years’ experience in a technical role.\nProgramming training from Crestron, Biamp, QSC, AMX, and others.\nAbility to program/troubleshoot basic control systems and touch panel GUIs.\nExperience with loading, trouble shooting, testing code onsite and remotely.\nAbility to closeout projects through commissioning of system functionality.\nExperience with programming various DSP products configurations and control.\nSignificant understanding and proficiency with audio principles.\nKnowledge of Cisco, Polycom and Lifesize VTC products to include their programming/setup.\nKnowledge of AV system design.\nKnowledge of network infrastructure, OSI model, and critical terminology.\nStrong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills.\nAbility to think and work independently and meet necessary deadlines.\nAbility to interact with field personnel, management, and customers.\nOccasional after-hours and/or travel may be required.\nHave network terminology knowledge.\n\nJob Type: Full-time\n\nPay: From $90,000.00 per
