{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"e689de7a8e508908a1fb43ce","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e689de7a8e508908a1fb43ce","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e689de7a8e508908a1fb43ce","title":"Windows Server Administrator","description":"MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented WINDOWS SERVER ADMINISTRATOR to join our team in QUANTICO, VA.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nInstalling, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server operating systems (2016, 2019, 2022) while monitoring server performance and optimizing resource utilization.\nManaging Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), including domain controllers, user/group management, DNS, DHCP, and complex Group Policy Object (GPO) creation and deployment.\nAdministering virtualized server environments utilizing VMware vSphere/ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V to ensure scalable and resilient infrastructure.\nPlanning and executing automated patching, software updates, and OS deployments using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).\nHardening Windows servers in strict accordance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and remediating vulnerabilities identified by ACAS/Nessus scans.\nMaintaining enterprise backup solutions, ensuring data integrity, and participating in Disaster Recovery (DR) and Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning and testing.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and at least 2 years in Information Systems Security.
