Makes routing decisions on acceptance of these products using standard procedures and instruments.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Schedule and assign work to subordinates. Train subordinate in the inspection and quality process. Oversee all quality testing of pipe. Investigate and recommend resolution to customer complaints. Oversee all QA record keeping. Completes various quality reports as necessary or as directed and makes recommendations on process improvements. Participates in or leads quality projects. Determines the quality of finished goods for shipment and returned goods for acceptance to stock. Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed. Heads ISO as the ISO Coordinator.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Follows the guidelines and policies of JM Eagle Exercise a high degree of independent decision making. Works under the general direction of the MOS and Plant Manager. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Abilities to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Climb and descend all ladders or steps whether fixed or portable on company facilities in order to inspect pipe and raw materials.Push and / or pull up to 2500 pounds up to 30 feet with the aid of material handling equipment.
