We are looking to hire a key member of our Operations team at our Belpre, Ohio location.\n\nThe Controls Systems Engineering Coordinator supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of process control systems (e.g., PLCs, DCS, and instrumentation) to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. They assist with troubleshooting, system optimization, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards while working closely with operations and reliability teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide Controls Systems technical support to manufacturing units, including daily operations and test runs\nConduct systems audits on controls platforms and develop obsolescence plans\nProvide controls systems expertise and support for large capital projects\nLead Management of Change (MOC) activities and provide technical assurance review for Controls-related activities\nInterface with engineering design contractors for controls systems scope\nApply and provide adherence to controls systems engineering standards\nDevelop and review project work execution documentations related to the controls discipline (e.g. DCS configuration database, complex loop descriptions, design and construction packages, etc.)\nAssist in controls systems retrofits, upgrades, and re-instrumentation projects as assigned\nRequired Skills\n5 - 10 years of experience within the chemical processing industry.\nField instrumentation experience (valves, transmitters, motor controls)\nKnowledge of disciplined problem-solving techniques and methodology.\nWorking knowledge of Process Safety Management principles and demonstrated safe work behaviors.\nBatch programming experience preferred\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to effectively work with internal and external employees.\nComputer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP OSHA 501 or similar training and extensive certifications.\nKnowledge of Management of Change and AFE work processes.\nWorking knowledge of chemical plant technical documents including P&ID’s, PFD’s\nPrior experience & exposure to process control, instrumentation, and automation systems. Preferred platforms include:\nFoxboro I/A DCS, Wonderware, Honeywell TDC3000, Modicon PLCs, Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs\nEducation, Certifications & Licenses\nHigh School Diploma required.\nBachelor's degree in engineering preferred.\n-\nThe statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this classification.
