If you have a can-do attitude and seek a challenging, rewarding position with a great team, Savance is the place for you!\nWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING\nParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable Windows and web-based applications using current company standards, tools, and best practices.\nCollaborate with product managers, engineers, support staff, and customers to define requirements and design effective solutions.\nTake ownership of complex features or systems from concept through production release.\nResearch, diagnose, and resolve complex software defects, including high-impact and escalated customer issues.\nReview code and provide constructive feedback to improve overall code quality, performance, and maintainability.\nMentor and support junior developers by sharing technical knowledge and best practices.\nAssist with estimation, planning, and prioritization of development tasks and projects.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation such as design documentation and developer guides.\nStay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and recommend improvements when appropriate.\nQUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS\nStrong proficiency in software development with a focus on building reliable, maintainable, and scalable solutions.\nExperience designing and implementing applications using Microsoft-based technologies, including C# / .NET.\nSolid understanding of relational databases, particularly SQL Server, including schema design and query optimization.\nExperience with modern web technologies and frameworks (e.g., Angular or similar).\nProficiency with version control systems such as Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively collaborating with a team.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.\nOUR IDEAL CANDIDATE IS\nPassionate about software development and continuously improving their craft.\nSelf-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nComfortable taking ownership of work and being accountable for outcomes.\nDetail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and reliability.\nCustomer-focused, with an understanding of how technical decisions impact end users.\nConfident yet humble, open to feedback, and willing to mentor others.\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n4+ years of professional software development experience, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.\nExperience developing Windows and/or web-based applications in a professional environment.\nExperience working directly with customers or stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.\nOngoing willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving tools and processes.\nCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS\n100k+ salary based on experience\nPerformance-based bonuses\n2 weeks of paid time off\n8-10 paid holidays a year\n401k with company matching\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance\nFlexible working schedule\nRemote, work from home position\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: $90,000.00 -
