{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"e67dbfd5d4a0694e0d3b4ca1","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e67dbfd5d4a0694e0d3b4ca1","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e67dbfd5d4a0694e0d3b4ca1","title":"Dock Coordinator - 1st Shift","description":"Warehouse AssociateResponsible for the put away of finished goods and bulk material into designated areas in the warehouse in an efficient and safe manner.\r\nJob DutiesResponsible for working with the Distribution Supervisor to determine the start of the shift priorities.\r\nPossesses the ability to independently plan work activities.\r\nDemonstrates the ability to coordinate work activities with that of others as a cooperative member of a team.\r\nAbility to operate equipment which requires specialized knowledge of processes.\r\nCan estimate the speed of moving objects to maintain safe vehicle operation.\r\nCommunicates / Dispatches all LTL Carriers\r\nManifest and prints Bill of Ladings for LTL and TL shipments\r\nAccurately labels out bound pallets with Shipping Labels\r\nAssures that all LTL and Truckload shipments are correctly loaded on the correct carrier trailers\r\nResponsible to make sure all drivers sign the appropriate paperwork\r\nAnswers and directs carriers from gate to appropriate dock doors for loading / unloading\r\nUnloading of inbound freight shipments\r\nKeep track and inventory levels of pallets on trailers for use in the DC\r\nMaintains good housekeeping in the dock and staging areas\r\nCan plan and carry out movement or flow of materials or products in a productive manner.\r\nResponsible for completing daily routing spreadsheets to carriers when applicable.\r\nResponsible for filling out end of day dock activities using excel spreadsheets.\r\nResponsible to ask questions if unsure of process steps and to seek supervisory guidance.\r\nAssist in finished goods inventory as required.\r\nResponsible for safe, responsible equipment operation and work practices of self and others.\r\nEnsures that each customer order can withstand transport by utilizing wrapping process.\r\nMust successfully complete a D.O.T. training course.\r\nOther duties as assigned.\r\nQualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED preferred.\r\n2 years of prior experience with loading / unloading of trailers / containers\r\n2 years prior experience in the safe operation of a Towmotor (Forklift).\r\nMust be able to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions.\r\nMust be able to clearly communicate with management, employees, drivers and carrier freight terminals.\r\nMust recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.\r\nMust possess the ability to count and make simple arithmetic additions, subtractions, multiplications and divisions.\r\nMust read and write English and perform simple math calculations (additions, subtractions, multiplications, divisions).\r\nMust be computer literate.\r\nPay Rate is $20 - $25 depending on experience and job history\r\nITW is an equal opportunity employer.
