What do they work on every day?\nWhy should you work on this team vs another team doing the same project at another company?\nHow is this technology used in the world that most people would recognize?\nWhat You Can Expect\nReview customer schematics and layout.\nPerform hands-on bring-up and debug of customer boards.\nClosely follow and check customer technical issues, provide remote or on-site troubleshooting.\nSupport customer lab/field trial, develop understanding of customer application environment and provide insightful advice on customer products.\nDrive and assist the sales team to win key designs with Marvell Ethernet PHYs.\nSupport engineering team in the collective effort of device and system level testing.\nProvide technical training to Marvell Sales Engineers, Distributor Field Applications Engineers, and key customers on Marvell PHY products.\nWork cross functionally with silicon development, system validation, and marketing team to define next generation of products and solutions.\nDevelop technical collateral including application notes, user guide/manual, release notes, white papers, and other technical documents.\nAssist sales team through preparation and delivery of technical presentations and statements of work by matching specific client business requirements with effective technical solutions.\nCreate relationships with key decision makers and serve as external technical spokesperson.\nUnderstand customer’s target market, analyze, and prioritize customer design requirements, and provide feedback to the engineering team.\nProvide customer feedback to executive and development teams for integration in functionality roadmap planning\nWhat We're Looking For\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 3+ years of related professional experience OR Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 2+ years of experience.\nExperience as System or Applications Engineer with High-Speed SerDes/Ethernet PHY products preferred\nFamiliarity with one or more of the following: high-speed PCB layout, signal integrity, board assembly, and manufacturing\nKnowledge of one or more of the following: complex mixed signal IC, SerDes, high-speed interface protocols and standards are preferred.\nKnowledge of any of the following: C/C++, API, Python/TCL scripting and automation\nExperience in using lab equipment including high speed oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic/protocol analyzers, and traffic generators.\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to analyze, summarize, and communicate efficiently (written and verbal) in a multicultural environment.\nMust be professional, detailed, customer-oriented, self-driven and able to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet customer needs.\nAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.\nTravel to customer sites (up to 10%).\nExpected Base Pay Range (USD)\n111,070 - 166,400, $ per annum\nThe successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
